Audio Clips

While the Belle Arte String Quartet has long offered a set of recordings for you to sample, at no charge, via a CD or Cassette Tape, we are now proud to present a few sample selections through our website.

Offered below are two audio formats: 

WAV (true, CD quality - 16bit, 44.1kHz)
MP3 (compressed, "AM-radio" quality - reduced download times)

Slower Internet connections (ie. 56k modem) will require 3-10minutes per MP3 selection, and approximately five times longer per WAV.  Most modern computers should be able to play either format, though some computers may require downloading (free) a program like Windows Media Player (both PC and Mac compatible).

Note:  Internet Explorer users are advised to right click on a given file, click "Save Target As", select "Desktop" and click "Save" to begin the download.  This way, should you wish to listen to the file multiple times, you need only play the file again, rather than re-download.
